arising from
ashes
overwhelming
intense

how long
has it been
fomenting?
when was it
conceived?
yesterday?
years ago?
birth?

this rage burns
with a heat
that consumes
you whole,
it can destroy,
it can strip away
dignity

seeking answers
to assuage anger,
this rage
comforts you
with its passion

this rage
keeps me alive!
