Lyrics

Skeleton Gangster - drawing by Harvey Dog 2019

Hear the silent screams?
I caused them all,
if you’re deep in trouble
and need some protection,
give me a call,
I like the silent screams
the power of a piece
unknown and shady
I make my living off of fear

I’ve got concrete shoes
in the back of my car,
give me a call
I eliminate irritations,
I like the silent screams
blood in the mouth
the futility of prayer
I make my living off of fear

I’m a busy man
I’ve got jobs to do,
so don’t waste my time
unless you mean it,
i like the silent screams
the power of a piece
the futility of prayer
I make my living off of fear

Notes

  • We had around 6-8 songs from our final run, that I thought would make a cool EP [haha – at least to the band!]. This was one of those songs.
  • Another song I loved doing live – especially when there was someone in the crowd that needed to be put in place…haha. Great guitar from John!
  • The lyrics needed a touch of tightening. It was still a work in progress…but, overall it was there.
